Tiger Woods “The Fear is Gone”

Tiger Woods has lost his MOJO.  For years Tiger Woods has dominated the world of professional golf, not anymore.  One of the major reasons for this domination was his mojo, his fear factor.  Course by course, fairway by fairway, Tiger eliminated the competion.  As hard as the competition tried to stay calm and composed the mojo would push that easy shot into the woods turning a simple Birdie or Par hole into a double bogey costing the tournament.

Was it a “Hot” new player that brought Tiger to mediocrity?  No.  Was it an injury?  No.  It was himself.  It was self destruction.  It was a personal life gone awry.

Will Tiger Woods win again? I think so.  Will he win another major?  I think so.  Will he dominate golf again?  I don’t think so.  It is like I said at the beginning of this post, golfers no longer fear him.  Tiger Woods is just another player on tour.  He will probably dominate off course earnings, but that will probably fall as young, hungry golfers climb to the top.   Take a look at Jhonny Vegas.

If Tiger steps back, re-orgaizes his life, gets himself grounded and 100% focus on his natural ability, and does this in the next few years, he could regain some of his mojo.  Maybe he can’t get back tow here he was, but a run of wins will cause the competition do second guess themselves and feel that fear again.

I do not see the domination coming back.  I see Tiger Woods as just another good player on tour.  I could be wrong and I usually am.
