Clone Golf Clubs FAQ's
Our Clone Golf Clubs

What are golf components?
Golf club components are simply the parts of a clone golf club: the head, the shaft, and the grip. Once the components are assembled, it becomes a club.
Can Clone Golf Clubs built using Crosshairgolf components really perform as well as brand name clubs?
Yes! The brand name manufacturers use components too. They buy the heads, the shafts, and the grips, the difference being that they assemble the golf clubs prior to shipping them to the stores. Somebody still has to put those golf clubs together, and more often than not, those clubs are built on an assembly line to the same specs: club length, shaft flex, driver loft, and grip size. You and I both know people are not the same. It is impossible for the manufacturers to custom fit golf clubs that suit every end-users variety of needs, if they do custom fit, the additional cost would be passed on to you. You can't blame them for a mass production operation, there are simply too many variables to contend with. Realize that the tour pros do not use "off-the-rack" clubs, they use clubs custom fit to the professional tour player. You now have the ability to purchase custom fit custom built golf clubs, just like the Pro's.
How good is the quality of your components?
Excellent. We at Crosshairgolf feel that the quality of our products are as good, if not better, and as technologically advanced as any Brand Name golf club on the market. The products we sell at Crosshairgolf go through the same tight quality control measures as the top names in golf equipment. Our golf head suppliers are ISO 9002 certified, meaning that each manufacturing step is measured and documented. Any deviations are quickly identified and corrected, resulting in quality, consistent product, time after time. In many cases, Crosshairgolf golf club components are even higher in quality because we can't fool our customers with poor quality product. Nobody can truly tell the quality of off-the-shelf products because they are already pre-built.
Why are Crosshairgolf Clone Golf Clubs so affordably priced in comparison to brand name clubs?
Overhead. Large golf equipment companies staff large factory and office operations, and they are typically located in high rent districts. In addition, the bigger companies usually have very large advertising expenses such as TV ads and pro endorsements. We only have our website and a few minor expenses, that keeps our prices low and our attention focused on you the customer.
Are your clubs knockoff golf clubs or copies?
No! Clone Golf Clubs from Crosshairgolf stand on their own merits. Crosshairgolf acknowledges and respects the intellectual property of every company in the golf industry, and we make every attempt to identify and avoid patent and trademark infringement. We seek inspiration from greatness in many forms and apply that greatness to our golf club designs.
You have so many models, how do I choose the right components?
We believe the more choices you have the better. Each clone golf club has its own distinct playing characteristics. We can help identify the features that best suit your playing style. Different features provide different feel and results. Club heads with a lower center of gravity tend to hit the ball higher leading itself to more airtime and less roll. Heads with lots of perimeter weighting (deeper cavities) will be more forgiving, but not as workable to the better player. Shafts with lower torque are more resistant to twist, but tend to be more expensive and have a harsher feel. Higher handicappers and slower swingers should go with a shaft with a little more torque and therfore a softer feel.
What is the warranty on your products?
Lifetime. We offer a lifetime warranty on our Clone Golf Clubs. If your club fails in any way from either a manufacturer defect of assembly failure, we at Crosshair Golf will replace that club at no cost to you.(Shipping costs not included). This warranty does not include golf carts driving over your club, or a club that was smashed against a tree in frustration, but give us a call anyway. We can always work something out.
